I’m exhausted.
I traveled a lot between yesterday and today. My boyfriend and I left for my hometown at about 12:30, went to my appointments, then visited my mom at work. We took her flowers for her birthday. After visiting with her for a while, we headed out to my parents’ house where we relaxed for a while before having a little BBQ. It was nice to be home. 
Today, I had to get up early (yuck!) for yet another appointment, and then my mom and I visited some friends I haven’t seen in a while. When all was said and done, we (me, Nick, Mom & Dad) headed out of town to celebrate Mom’s birthday. We went out to eat at Red Lobster. It was pretty tasty!
Tomorrow it’s back to work for me. My two days off were actually pretty full of things to do, but at least I got to see my parents again.. it had been a while.

I’ve been working my tail off for the past week.. but I can honestly say, I really enjoy my job. I see so many different animals, it’s awesome. I especially love the dogs. Hopefully someday I’ll live somewhere that I can have a dog.. it’s been a long time.
Today I have an hour drive back to my hometown, and several doctor/dentist/etc appointments to go to. My first day off in a week, and it’s packed with stuff I have to do! It’s also my mom’s birthday today, she turns 47. I’m really excited to see her and Dad, it’s been a couple of weeks. I’m really close with my parents, so it’s hard for me to go so long without seeing them.
Well, I’d better get going, I have to pack.. Nick and I will be staying at my parents’ house until tomorrow, and we’re going out to eat for Mom’s birthday. Exciting!

So, since I’m new to this whole blog thing.. I’ll start off by introducing myself.
My name is Danielle. I’m 19 years old, and reside in Wisconsin. I live with my boyfriend, Nicholas. I have several pets: a cat (Ginger), an albino leopard gecko (Riddick), 2 dwarf hamsters (Rose&Zoey), and a fish (Phoenix). I work at a pet store (if you couldn’t tell!), and I LOVE it.
